Watergate Salad

The Watergate Salad originated in 1976 by a Sous Chef at the Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C. I had heard about it many years ago but recently I saw this salad show up on some websites. It looked sweet & delicious so I had to try it!

Only 4 ingredients, crushed pineapple, pistachio pudding, mini marshmallows & Cool Whip. All of these ingredients combined created this really fluffy desert that is called a salad. Watergate Salad. Once the salad was mixed together it is put into the refrigerator to chill & let the flavours combine well. I left mine in the fridge for about 2 hours but it really only needs an hour in the fridge
