One of my Fav Soups for Fall…Potato Leek Soup

We love this Potato Leek Soup, especially in the fall. We don’t really eat soup in the summer & as soon as the leaves start to turn colour & fall off the trees we crave this soup! If you live in a place that does not have a particularly cold fall, well this soup is good for you too!

One of the reasons why I love this version of Potato Leek Soup is that it is VEGAN & PARVE. This is creamy without any dairy products.

My recipe using a recipe from Chatelaine magazine as inspiration. I started making this soup many years ago & have not changed my recipe, it is that good! No need for change!

We always break our fast with our extended family and we usually have the same menu every year!

We start with a piece of Honey Cake & a cup of tea then we dig in to the delicious food on the table. We all contribute a dish or two to the meal.

Cut up veg, cucumbers, carrots & broccoli & cauliflower with a dip of some kind

Egg Salad & Tuna Salad ( usually just basic made with mayo)
