Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts

Making Brussels Sprouts in the Air Fryer is great! You can absolutely make these in a hot ovens as well. I really like using my air fryer & are always trying new things in it. I have had my Air Fryer for quite a while but tend to only use it for frozen French fries, frozen breaded fish & chicken wings. I am trying to make more things in it!

This is super simple and of course you can make this your own by adding different spices to your Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts. You can use the maple syrup as I have suggested but feel free to add more if you like you Brussels Sprouts sweeter! Or, of course you can leave the maple syrup out & these are still perfectly delicious!

Here is the recipe

2 lb Brussels Sprouts

2 tbsp (approx) olive oil

kosher salt

4 tbsp maple syrup ( optional)

Method

Preheat the Air Fryer to 375F

Take the 2 lb bag of Brussels Sprouts & cut off the stem end and any leaves that should come off. Put the Brussels Sprouts into a bowl with water and a splash of vinegar for abut 5 minutes to clean them really well. Remove them from the bowl onto a clean dish towel and pat them dry. Cut them in half lengthwise in to a bowl. Toss with olive oil & sprinkle with kosher salt.

When the Air Fryer is ready add the Brussels Sprouts and cook for 15 minutes, tossing occasionally. Just about 4 minutes before they are finished cooking pour some maple syrup on them. I added 2 tbsp… give them a toss and put them back into the air fryer. At 15 minutes there were not done as much as I like so I put them back in for another 2 minutes. Remove from the air fryer and check them. Taste them to see if they have enough salt and maple syrup & if they are cooked as much as you like. My Brussels Sprouts were still too hard for me and I wanted them sweeter so I added more salt and drizzled more maple syrup all over. I then put them back into the air fryer for another 4 minutes. Tossing them once. Cook them until they are to your liking!! NOTE: The maple syrup is optional of course. These are delish without … you can use any spices you like.

And that’s it!

Many people ask me "how did you do that?" "will you show me how?' So I decided to make a blog about what I cook and bake. I am in no way a professional cook, but I love to feed people and try new things as well as making the "old foods" My friends are wonderful cooks, each with their own 'specialty' and i will be having guest cooks here, showcasing their favourite things to cook as well!! I hope you enjoy this blog and maybe decide to make some of these foods yourself! I am always available to answer any questions you might have about anything you see here. Some of my recipes are unique to me but most are not. They are all recipes I have found in a variety of ways, some are old family recipes that date back decades and some are new ones!
