These salmon patties are a staple in our house. I keep a couple of cans of salmon in the pantry to whip up these patties for dinner anytime. They are good as the main in a meal, on a bun as a burger or cold from the fridge.
Marinade some chicken in this asian salad dressing then pop it into the oven or on the grill for a delicious dinner!
I love pasta salad, but the problem is sometimes I find that the pasta is quite tasteless & worse for me is if it is undercooked…or overcooked I suppose! I realize I don’t love the vegetables in there either…I am not being critical of other peoples pasta salads…I just wanted to make mine a bit different & see how it turned out.
Inspired by a recipe I saw on Bon Appetit, I used the avatar spice I had in the cupboard, a can of chickpeas & some tomatoes that were sitting around. The recipe from Bon Appetite had different spices, but the idea of chickpeas & tomatoes was from there
Kind of like lasagna, but only in that it is a cheesy baked pasta dish topped with mozzarella cheese & a sprinkle of parmesan…..vegetarian & delicious!
I know it is Meatless Monday’ but we had meatless Saturday & Sunday!!! So today, even though it is raining, I think BBQ chicken is whats for supper tonight!
