Noodle Kugels are baked pasta dishes! I never really thought of them as ‘pasta’ dishes but they certainly are! Noodles are pasta! So instead of always making a cheese baked pasta give some of these Noodle Kugels a try for something different!
I always think of Noodle Kugles as side dishes if they are the simple kind that are sweet but I realize they can be a meal just like any kind of pasta dish! Just add a salad or a vegetable on the rise and there you have it!
The Cottage Cheese Noodle Kugel is usually served with sour cream/yogurt & berries.
The Sweet Noodle Kugel with Apples & Raisins is delicious on its own or top with some sour cream or yogurt here
Mom’s Sweet Noodle Kugel is only slightly sweet so this is perfect with an green salad with a mild vinaigrette or some lovely roasted root vegetables go perfectly here
Sweet Noodle Kugel is pretty sweet so again topping it with sour cream or yogurt makes a great meal. I love this kugel on its own actually. IT is crispy & sweet but to make this a full meal add a salad or cooked veg here.
