I made these Air Fryer Baked Potatoes not too long ago & they were wonderful.
There are so many ways to use an Air Fryer & this is one of my favourite foods to make in it. One reason is that I did not have to turn the big oven on for only 2 potatoes which is an energy saver for sure! If my oven is on with something cooking at a lower temperature than making these Air Fryer Baked Potatoes makes sense. Everything can be cooking at the same time.
The Air Fryer Baked Potatoes did not take less time than if I would have cooked them in the oven but they were certainly more fluffy!
There is not really a ‘recipe’ but here is how I made these!
***. If you want to make more than 2 potatoes you can make as many that will fit in your Air Fryer. The potatoes should not touch so they they can cook every all around. The number of potatoes also depends on the size of the potatoes.
Ingredients for 2
2 Russet Potatoes
Neutral will to rub on the potatoes
Toppings: butter, salt, pepper, chopped chives, sour cream, plain yogurt, grated cheese etc

- Wash and dry your potatoes & poke them with a fork in several places
- Rub the potatoes alll over with some oil. ***not too much but. you want them to look shiny!
- Put the potatoes into the basket of your Air Fryer so that they are not touching each other
- Cook at 400f for 50 minutes *** The amount of time depends on the size of your potatoes. If they are small check them at less time than the 50 minutes
- Open the drawer of the Air Fryer & check your potatoes after 20 minutes giving the basket a shake, Continue cooking for the remaining 30 minutes
- Check the potatoes at the 50 minutes & see if they are cooked to your liking *** I like my potatoes really soft so I could it for another 20 minutes
- Remove the cooked potatoes very carefully as they are SO HOT!
- Serve as desired *** I like to have butter salt & pepper on mine, Murray loves these with chopped chives
