Who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookies? I have made lots of Passover chocolate chip cookies over the years & this my favourite. My kids liked them when they were young (& they still do) & the little kids in my life now like them as well.
Even if you do to follow Passover, you could make these cookies!!! They are that good!
The recipe is from a community cookbook from California & the person who contributed this recipe to the book is A. Suplin.
The original recipe calls for margarine & toasted walnuts. I used butter this time, so making them dairy. I like the taste better with butter, but of course if you need them to be parve, stick to the parve margarine! I did not add the nuts, but if you like nuts in your cookies, toast 1/4 cup chopped nuts & add with the chocolate chips
These cookies freeze really nicely so you can make them ahead the just take them out of the freezer when you are ready to eat them !
