A cake is always nice to add to any dessert table.. even if there are only 2 of us this year for the holidays I plan on making a few recipes .. won’t be able to eat it all so some will be delivered on doorsteps this year & I will wave from the car! I have made this Rum Cake several times & it is always a hit…Murray really likes rum..so I raid the liquor cabinet & make this with whatever rum I find…usually it is a really nice sweet ‘sipping’ rum, but any rum will do.
The other day Murray said he wanted cake, and oddly I did not have any…none on the counter & none in the freezer…so it was time to make a cake!
