Look at that puffy pita! Baked in a really hot oven.. no oil... these too a few hours of letting the dough rise..but most of it was inactive time! And... for sure it is worth the effort ! These are good and watching them in the oven puff up is kind of cool! The recipe is on my blog NOW ! Link in my bio!

Haven’t made sourdough for about 2 weeks & am so happy to have some again ! I use the @nytcooking sourdough recipe every time and it never disappoints!

Cape Seed Bread.. I just love this! A South African ( I think) recipe a friend of mine gave me... this seedy no-yeast bread is really delish! Toasted or not.. slathered in peanut butter ..butter..jam... or plain..anyway if yum! The recipe is on my blog .. the link is in my bio!

Potato Leek Soup.. it’s a soup day here with all of that snow that fell yesterday! This soup is vegan & one of my favourite recipes (Go to the link in my bio, the recipe is on my website !

Snow storm ..in April... our front door is covered in snow!! It is so windy the snow was blown on it and it has stuck!

Shlissel Challah a good omen to have a challah baked in a key shape or bake a key in a challah or I have read out a key on a challah .. many different ways and many different opinions .. I have done this now the first week after Passover since I learnt about it several years ago .. why not? Can’t hurt! A good omen for livelihood! Shabbat shalom !
