Quick & Easy ‘Japanese’ salad Dressing

Just a really quick post

The other night I made a balsamic vinegar salad dressing & Murray did not really like it. He told me he really likes the Japanese salad dressings in the Japanese restaurants we go to. This dressing is not like the one at the restaurant but it is good!!! The big question is Will Murray like this??? Hope you does!

So, I made a salad for dinner tonight & searched the internet for a Japanese salad dressing.

I found several but I do not have some of the ingredients so I adapted a recipe on BBC Good Food ….the recipe I changed is Japanese salad with ginger soy dressing

I thought I would just send this recipe out now in case you want to make it for dinner!

Ingredients

4 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar

4 tbsp soya sauce

4 tbsp vegetable oil

2 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp dried ginger

1 tsp onion powder

Method

  1. Put all of the ingredients into a container & use an immersion blender to combine, or you can put this in a jar & shake it really well! Just want to incorporate all of the ingredients really well

Pour over any salad

Enjoy!!

Many people ask me "how did you do that?" "will you show me how?' So I decided to make a blog about what I cook and bake. I am in no way a professional cook, but I love to feed people and try new things as well as making the "old foods" My friends are wonderful cooks, each with their own 'specialty' and i will be having guest cooks here, showcasing their favourite things to cook as well!! I hope you enjoy this blog and maybe decide to make some of these foods yourself! I am always available to answer any questions you might have about anything you see here. Some of my recipes are unique to me but most are not. They are all recipes I have found in a variety of ways, some are old family recipes that date back decades and some are new ones!
